1: Set yourself realistic approaches.
The ability to focus and have proper mindset enables
someone on a diet to quickly lose those extra pounds.
With discipline and proper mind set, a dieter will
never be discouraged and lose focus.
2: Listen as your body speaks.
Each and everyone's body metabolism reacts differently
to different fast weight loss programs and plans.
Try substituting one program for another to compensate
the body's reaction. Exercise program must be suitable
to one's body, as others are not able to exercise as
rigorously as others can.
If walking is all that can be done, then walk as this
has been proven the best exercise. Muscles burn more
calories than fats so it's also best to put on a little
muscle and looking good too.
3: Eat more fibers.
Fiber makes you full sooner and stays in your stomach
longer, slowing down the rate of digestion. A single
serving of whole grain bread moves fat through the
digestive system faster.
Grains turn into blood sugar that spikes the body's
insulin level. Thus, making your body more energized
and ready to tell your body when it should stop burning
fats or start storing.
4: Keep away from fried foods.
Especially deep-fried as they contain a greater amount
of fat. Although fish and chicken appear leaner than
beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when
beef is fried.
It is recommended for those on a strict diet to opt for
grilled food as this does not have or contains less
amounts of fat after the food is cooked.
5: Drink lots of water.
Drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day
keeps your body refreshed. Since weight loss depends
on how your body eliminates body wastes, your body
must stay hydrated.
As you can see, this is NOT about crash-dieting,
losing weight dangerously quickly, then putting it all
(and then some) right back on when your eating returns
to normal.
This is NOT about wallpapering over the cracks with
cheap hypnosis CDs you bought on eBay, laying down at
night with headphones on, hoping to by hypnotized into
eating less, and then falling asleep after
5 minutes anyway!
This is NOT about replacing 2 of your daily meals with
'health shakes' which always seem to leave you feeling
hungrier than ever.
And this is NOT about becoming a 'gym junkie', working
out for hours, morning noon and night, wearing yourself
out, even building muscle so your body actually
increases in size
